Also trying to get two NPC's to their platform in the arena before they see each other and run off to fight wherever they are, can be a bit tricky. The exception are raiders, gunners and mutants - they are always aggressive and everyone always attacks them (turrets too).
Turning off the emitter, causes a mass free-for-all brawl. However assigning someone to a platform causes that person and the creature to fight until one is dead. It is ultimately, that simple, with a couple of points to note - the traffic light gets everyone watching and screaming for blood, the beta wave emitter not only keeps aggressive creatures tame but (as a result) also stops NPC's from attacking it. When your fighter arrives at the platform, release the creature and enjoy the fight. Once you've trapped your creature and are ready to see a fight, switch on the traffic light and assign someone to a red or blue platform.

Well, here is the in-game notice when you place a cage (and arena platform) if you missed it. Keeping a deathclaw is a problem! I have one trapped, I then slept for 3 days, went outside and there were two deathclaws running around the settlement and another 3 of them outside! The one in the cage remained but they were everywhere!!Īnd also, as a bug - one of the settlers would not leave the deathclaw in the cage alone - she kept trying to get in the arena to kill it despite it being locked up.
